Dear Band Members,
It is with a heavy heart
,that I must tell you, that our precious Ms. Lela Budwine has gone to be with our
Lord God and Savior to continue her work as the Angel she was while here on
earth. I know that she will be watching over each and every one of us as she
continues her giving ways in the Kingdom of heaven.
She will be missed
dearly by all that had the pleasure to know her, and especially missed by
the ones who loved her so very much. There will be a Memorial service held
for her on June 19, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at the Clarion at
Brazosport
College
.
A reception will follow in the foyer, of the Clarion, after the service.
This is a fitting venue, for her memorial, because of the love she had for
all the area musicians and the music that they shared.
I know that she cared for
each and every one of her kids in all of the bands. Some of the happiest
moments of her life were shared with the Brazoswood Buccaneer Band students.
Please honor her by coming out to the Clarion and celebrate her life with us,
as she would have wanted it this way.
