Performance Summary |
| The Brazoswood High School Buccaneer Band
performed at the halftime of the Galveston Ball football game at
Hopper Field in Freeport, TX., on Friday, October 26, 2007. It was
the eighth football game and third home game of the 2007 season. The Buc Band
performed their marching show in great fashion and displayed a new variation of the ending with the band contracting to a small ball representing the final triumph of the sun over the rain. They continue to improve as they prepare for the U.S.S.B.A. contest on Saturday, October 27, in Pearland, followed by the Bands of America Super Regional in San Antonio on November 3. In a football matchup between two very good teams, the Buc football team won a 21-14 victory, securing sole possession of second place in district. |
