Performance Summary |
The Brazoswood High School Buccaneer
Band performed at the halftime of the Pearland football game at Hopper Field in Freeport on Friday, September 11, 2009. It was
the third football game and second home game of the year. For the second week, the band performed both the opener and the closer of their 2009 marching show. They showed continued excellence in the exciting closer and major improvement in the opener. Solo performances in the opener were presented more effectively to the crowd and the subtlety of the first half of the opener served as a good contrast to the second part of that movement. the closer. The band continues to progress toward its first contest, BOA Houston in Pearland on October 3.
The football team scored their second victory of 2009 on the backs of an amazing defense against a very good Friendswood team, with the final score of Brazoswood 28, Friendswood 18. This improves Brazoswood's
season record for 2009 to 2-1. |
