Summary |
| The Mighty Buc Band marched a great show in the U.S.S.B.A. Texas State Championship marching contest on Saturday, October 28, 2007, at The Rig in Pearland, Texas. The show was highlighted by the new ending introduced just this week, with the band forming the sun surrounded by yellow & red flags. A total of 32 bands competed in 7 divisions. The Buc Band competed in the VI Open Division which had 5 bandsinvolved the largest bands (in terms of numbers of students). The Bucs finished 1st in their Division with a score of 92.20 points. The second place finisher was Westfield (V Open Division) with a score of 89.75. In addition to finishing 1st in the 6 Open Division, band's score was tops among all bands entered. The band moves on to the BOA San Antonio Super Regional marching contest on Saturday, November 3. |
