Summary |
Prelims:
The Mighty Buc Band marched their best show of the year in their
preliminary round performance at the 2008 U.I.L. Area F Marching
Contest. The show was very precise and the music performance was
excellent. The show rewarded the band with the 1st place ranking
in the preliminary round, qualifying the band as one of the 10 bands to
move on to compete in the finals round.

Finals:
Marching in the finals round, the Mighty Buc Band matched their
preliminary performance early this day with an equally excellent show.
The show was very controlled and wowed the crowd. When the
announcement were made, not only did the band qualify to compete in the
upcoming State Marching Contest, but the band was ranked 1st in the
finals competition. The band now begins to prepare for the UIL 5A
State Marching Contest which will be held at the Alamodome in San
Antonio on Tuesday, November 4.
