Saturday, October 24

5:00 Arrive at the band hall in black shorts and competitive Buccaneer t-shirt with luggage (1 suitcase / student), hang up bag, extra money, backpack with sack lunch & water bottle.  You may bring movies to view on the bus only if they are PG13 and are not morally offensive…no bad language.

Load up the charters parked along the street.  Be sure to pack like items together under the bus (instruments in one bay and hang up bags in another bay).  The pit truck and load truck will remain loaded from the rehearsal the night before.

5:15 Depart for San Antonio and the Alamodome.  When buses are driving through Seguin, eat your sack lunch.

9:45 Arrive at the Alamodome.  Disembark the buses and go in a group into the Alamodome to watch some other bands perform and use the rest rooms.

10:30 Return to the buses and put on your uniform and unload your equipment.

10:45 – 11:05 Equipment truck unload

11:05 – 11:50 Our warm-up time begins in area “B.”

11:05 – 11:40 Pit warm-up time

11:50 Pit reporting time.

12:05 Band report time.  We are stationed in the tunnel and ready to rock & roll.

12:15 Start time.  We go out and march a great show!!  The crowd goes wild!!!

12:30 Return to the buses and change out of your uniform, hanging it up carefully.  Load your own instrument under your bus.

4:45 Presentation of awards. 

After the awards ceremony we will meet at the buses and eat.  Please dispose of all trash properly.

7:45 First performing finalist band.

10:30 Presentation of Finals Awards

11:00 Stadium closed.  Load the buses and leave for the hotel: 

In your room 15 minutes after we get to the motel.  Please be quiet as a courtesy to the hotel’s other guests.  Get some sleep!

Sunday, October 25

9:20 Wake up to a complimentary breakfast by the hotel.
Please wear your Black Swan shirt so chaperons can identify you easier

10:20 Load everything onto the buses & check out of the hotel.  Every room will be inspected by a director or a chaperon. 

10:30 Depart for downtown / Riverwalk area.

A check-in location near where the buses drop us off will be communicated to you.  You will be required to check in at a designated time.  Stay in groups of four or more Brazoswood Band students.

1:50 Arrive at the pre-designated bus pick-up point.

2:00 Depart San Antonio for home.

6:00 Arrive at Brazoswood High School.
